About Me

My photo
Seoul, In the writing moment at least, South Korea
I am 20 years. My earlier days I spent on the streets of stockholm, Sweden, now I spend my days on the catwalk. In high heels I am, step by step walking my dream. It seemed like it all happened in the blick of my asian eye, now I am in Seoul, South korea and working as a model and also for several tv-shows. My dream coming true! I am from Sweden, you know: ABBA, Volvo, Absolut Vodka etc. However my mom is from South Korea so thats why my hair is straight and dark, my eyes almond shaped and why I love eating with chopsticks. My dad is swedish-danish so thats why I have the most difficult last name in history: FUGLSANG (means bird song in danish) I have a little sister whom I love more than anything in this world. I am 177cm tall, naive and stubborn, love dolphines, gold, and clothes and never give up on my dreams! And thats just a little bit about me..

My job

One of the things I love the most with my job is that is so varying, I have to opportunity to try and experience so different things. As I told you earlier I have done comedyshows, photoshots,
 catwalks etc

A show that really fell close to my heart was the Oliveshow which is a talkshow about trends, fashion, cosmetics and guys (all my favorit topis)!  Led by Pyeong jung su (a famous supermodel and mogul, like koreas Tyra Banks) me and the rest of the panel gathered every week to share our opinions concerning the topic of the day.
For exampel on day we were listing the 30 hottest guys in korea... me likeeee haha. Especially Daniel Henning, my dream man who was in top 5 hallelulja :D Another episode I really liked was when we had fortunetellers visiting the show. A couple of days before I got to be a reporter and interview two different fortune tellers. One who was more focusing on which colors
and which stiles will do you good. She was lovely and told me colors for me are blue and goooo
old <3>
uniqe, she got me to dance with her to bring out the luck and she told me I will have many boyfriends before I will meet mister Right and a casting next year. She was wonderful and full of life and I was happy as she gueststared the show the following week.

The show was a great challenge for me as we were only talking in korean. However everybody was so nice and I learned alot and had superfun everytime!!

One of my first photoshots in Korea was for "Be a model" and it was extra fun since I got to do it with most of my friends from the agency. We were instructed to jump, pose elegant, cute, sexy, funny faces, natural, yes all the things you could think of. We laughed alot and had a blast. Here are the results:

My debut on korean Tv was for the major channel KBS. It was called Jenny and Mino traveling korea on scoters!! And that was exactly what we did, me and my japanes travelpartner Mino who is a very funny and kind musician visited wonderful locations on our scoters accompanied by the filmteam of KBS. Everytime we were away for 3-4 very fullybooked days. Around 7 in the morning we began climbing the beautiful mountains, drafting in the wild river, digging for clams in the mudsea or learning how to make korean delicous food etc. Since I am a very adventurous person who loves do travel and learn new things, eat new things, meet new thing :) this was the perfect combination for me.

Me at the fishmarket where I was chased by a crazy octupus on the run
On the toooop of the mountain (after taking the lift high above the trees and then walking for 1h!!)

Other climbers :) They taught me korean folksongs haha

I call her happyfunnyfishlady

Me and Mino playing with the kids at the waterslides
(I felt like I was a kid again, running up the hill to go down the slide again and again... and again!

Beautiful cave who we spotted during our boattrip on the korean sea
Our scoters that went to several cities all over sparkling Korea (mine was the pink one, and I had a matching helmet!)
I met so interesting people like the happyfunnyfishlady, a family living on a house far away on the sea, a grandmother who taught me how to play korean card games, a lot of cute children, a team of watersports pros who taught me how to drive the jetski with a terrified Mino on the back hahah and many many more. I learned so much about the korean culture and came to the conclution that it is FANTASTIC. People value family and cultural heritage so extremly high and it is inspiring.

My comedy show

For you who dont know I work for a tv-show called   --------->
Its a comedyshow about m
e and my two sweethearts Djamilya and Tatyana (on the pic)
and our search to find a kore
an man. We are paired up with one man
each and are then supposed to live with them for 3
months. The whole concept is extremly funny since many strange cultural collisions occurs and there are often communication problems since me and the girls do not speak perfect korean and the guys do not speak to much english! However it is superfun and I LOVE it!

The three couple are very different. Me and my "partner" are the happy couple which is great! The previous episodes we been to the beach with the other couples, my family co-stared the show for one episod, I was walking in a big fashionshow, I have been meeting his bandpartner (since he is a singer) whom also moved in with us for 2 weeks which made my partner super jealous haha.  We also had time for a lot of drama, jokes, foodfights (with the swedish pancakes cake I made), clubbing, drinking and fighting etc.

(the palace me and my partner live in for the show)

(my room in the show, princessstyle! :D)

(first day for the show, on the beach, me being thrown in to the ocean)

                                                (me and my sweetie, Tanya)

The show have had great reviews and is now very popular. Me and the girls start to get many fans which for me and Tatyana is a new experience, Djamilya has been really famous from previous programs. The same goes for the guys who are already well-known in the entertainment business.

It is sooo fun!
I looove it!

Lets get started

I have started a blog!!

Yes I know, about 10 years after everybody else in cyberspace. Anyway I am excited and hope you are too!?

Okej, so now what?

Lets start with the crusial: ME! Haha No but seriously this blog will be kind of a webdiary about my new life in the model and entertainment industry (Tv in more simple words). Hope you will find it interesting, at least you will learn how the industry really works and I can tell you right now it is not good.... it is GREAT!

As i told you before, I am starting to live
dream. It is all so overwhelming and wonderful and I cannot still understand that it is all happenig to me! 6 months of this new life has already past. 6 months since I left Swed

en, stockholm, my dear family and lovely friends (miss you all sooooo much)

I am now in the captital of South Korea, Seoul. Most of you probably dont know to much about this fantastic country. I would describe it as a country where: people bow for everything to show respect, eat kimchi 3 times a day (at least), loves to drink and are the most hard working people in the world.  If you dont like rice, kareoke or designer bags you should not come to Korea :)
